How Yieldmos works.

Everything about staking on Yieldmos in plain language. Numbers on this page are read live from the protocol configuration, so what you see here is what the app is running.

Overview

Yieldmos is a staking platform for mid and high cap Solana memecoins. You stake coins you already hold, they earn a target APY paid from a pre-funded treasury, and you can withdraw at any time. Holding the Yieldmos token on top raises your APY, and if Yieldmos grows after you stake, your yield grows with it.

Three things make Yieldmos different from "number go up" yield farms: rewards are pre-funded by a treasury you can audit on-chain, the eligible list is filtered live by market cap, and there is no lock-up.

Eligible coins

A coin qualifies when it is a Solana SPL token with a market cap of at least $25M, measured from live market data. The list refreshes every few minutes:

  • If a coin dips below the floor, new stakes are paused. Existing positions keep earning and can still be withdrawn.
  • When it recovers, the pool reopens automatically.
  • The team can pause a pool manually (for example, if a token contract is upgraded).

The current list is always on the Eligible Coins page, with each coin's mint address linked to Solscan so you can verify you're holding the right token before staking.

Staking

  1. Connect your wallet. Phantom and other Solana wallets work. Connecting asks you to sign a short message — this proves ownership and costs nothing.
  2. Pick a pool and an amount. You see the target APY, your wallet balance and the estimated value before anything happens.
  3. Approve the transfer. Your wallet shows a single transaction that moves your coins to the treasury wallet. Nothing else is granted — no approvals, no delegations.
  4. Your position is credited once the transaction is confirmed on Solana. The platform checks the on-chain transaction itself (sender, token, amount) before crediting, so only real deposits count.

Minimum stake is $25 worth at the time of staking. Each pool has a capacity — a cap on the total staked in that coin, sized to the reserve the treasury holds for it. When a pool is full, new stakes wait until capacity is raised or someone withdraws; existing positions are unaffected. You can add to a position any time; rewards simply keep accruing on the larger balance.

Target APY

Each pool shows a target APY — the annualised rate rewards are currently accruing at. The base target is 12% (the team can set a different rate per coin). Rewards accrue every second and are paid in the same coin you staked:

FormulaExample
rewards = principal × APY × (seconds staked ÷ seconds in a year)1,000,000 BONK at 12% for 30 days ≈ 9,863 BONK

"Target" means exactly that: it is the rate the treasury is funded to pay and is not a guarantee. The team may change the target for future accrual; a change never applies retroactively to rewards already accrued. See risk disclosure.

The treasury

Rewards are not paid from new deposits. The treasury wallet holds both staked principal and a reserve funded by the team, and every payout comes from it. The Treasury page reads the wallet's balances directly from Solana and shows them next to what the ledger owes stakers, coin by coin, as a coverage percentage.

Coverage above 100% for a coin means every staker in that pool could withdraw principal plus accrued rewards today.

Yieldmos growth boost

When you first stake, the platform records the Yieldmos token price at that moment as your reference price. From then on, if Yieldmos is trading above your reference, your APY on every pool is multiplied:

The boost is capped at +300% price growth and never goes negative: if Yieldmos is below your reference you simply earn the base rate. The boost activates automatically once the Yieldmos token is trading.

Holder tiers

Hold YMOS (the Yieldmos token) in the same wallet you stake from and you earn a bonus on top of every pool's APY. Tiers are read live from your on-chain balance each time rewards are calculated — no registration, no lock-up of the Yieldmos itself. Bonuses are funded by the protocol fee on rewards.

Fees

  • Staking: free. You pay only the Solana network fee (a fraction of a cent) and, the first time a coin is staked by anyone, a one-time account rent of about 0.002 SOL.
  • Rewards: a 5% protocol fee is taken from rewards only when you withdraw. Principal is never charged.
  • Withdrawals: free. Network fees for the payout are paid by the treasury.

Withdrawals

There is no lock-up. From your positions you can:

  • Claim — withdraw rewards only and keep the principal staked.
  • Withdraw part — take out some principal plus all accrued rewards.
  • Withdraw everything — close the position.

A withdrawal is queued immediately and paid from the treasury wallet within 24 hours. While it is queued, the amount stops accruing. Once paid, the transaction link appears in your withdrawals list. If a withdrawal is ever rejected (for example, a flagged wallet), the full amount goes straight back into your position and keeps accruing.

Security

  • No approvals. Staking is a plain token transfer you sign yourself. Yieldmos never asks for token approvals or wallet delegation.
  • No server-side keys. Payouts are signed by the treasury wallet in a hardware or browser wallet, not by an automated hot wallet.
  • Verified deposits. Every deposit is checked against the on-chain transaction before it is credited, and each transaction can only be credited once.
  • Exact accounting. Balances are tracked in the token's smallest unit with integer math — no rounding drift.

Risk disclosure

Staking involves risk. Please read this before using Yieldmos.

  • Custody. Staked coins are held in the treasury wallet, which is operated by the Yieldmos team. You are trusting the team to process withdrawals. Check treasury coverage before and while you stake.
  • Target APY is not guaranteed. Rates can change for future accrual. Rewards depend on the treasury remaining funded.
  • Market risk. Memecoins are volatile. Your principal is returned in the same coin, whose value may have fallen.
  • Token risk. Eligible coins can lose eligibility, liquidity or even function. Bridged coins add bridge risk.
  • Nothing here is financial advice. Yieldmos is not available where prohibited by law.

FAQ

Do I need the Yieldmos token to stake?

No. Any eligible coin can be staked on its own. Yieldmos only adds the holder tier and growth boost.

Which wallet should I use?

Phantom is the easiest. Any wallet that supports Solana message signing works.

Can I stake from an exchange?

No — stake from a wallet you control. Deposits from exchange wallets can't be matched to your account.

What happens if a coin drops below $25M after I stake?

Nothing changes for you: your position keeps accruing and you can withdraw whenever you like. Only new stakes into that pool pause.

Where does the yield actually come from?

From the treasury's reserve, funded by the team, plus protocol fees on rewards. It is not funded by other users' deposits.

Is there a lock-up?

No. Withdraw any time; payouts arrive within the processing window shown on the Stake page.
